On a deserted island far far from any mainland, Kim and Ron were battling a horde of robotic animals. Kim was only on the island due to a very strange distress call and when she got there she found a very old aged gentlemen being attacked by the robotic monsters.
She had a hard time fending them off, but thanks to Wade finally coming through she was able to turn her Kimmunicator into an EMP emitting device, instantly destroying all the creatures which they shook and rattled into pieces upon being affected by the EMP. Rushing to the old man's side, Kim sadly found him on his death bed.

Summary: AU. KiGo (eventually). Kim is 17, Bonnie and Monique are 18, and Shego is 19. Kim is a retired hero not completely out of business, and Shego is a retired hero that is out of business. I guess this is time for Mrs Granger to have a serious word with her daughter's mother in law.
I agree that the Grangers will be excellent adoptive parents. They can give these kids a very balanced education. Oh, however, they will spoil them. And so will Hermione, if it doesn't drive her crazy.
