Life has been crazy lately.
Yes I have been writing, but not stuff that would get put up here for the most part. I got my first book published and it's out on Amazon. The title is 300 Rains. It's doing really well which is freaking me out some. Who knew that I could write? But I have been sick, working on edits, prepping for surgery, working on a new project for pay... so the usual kind of things that keep a person busy.

I need to get busy uploading a new Harry Potter story. It's pretty fun and messed up. I am sure that you guys will enjoy it. At least I hope you do.
This is also a to let you all know that I am raising money for surgical costs. My surgery is in February and so time moves pretty fast. And fyi... any money will help. $5 or more would be awesome because that builds up. So if you are interested here's the link.

Wow... it's been a while. Apparently I don't often have things to say, which would stun my friends. I usually have a few comments readily at hand for most any occasion, but I digress. Anyway... I submitted to 5 agencies on my birthday, because why not? I heard back from one already, which is mighty impressive. 2 days. Wow! I have waited up to 8+weeks before so 2 days is insane. So... we will see how this round turns out.
I need to finish my transfer of text from the newest edit to the master manuscript file. That will take a bit but its part of the job. Sigh... sometimes specialized formatting sucks. I understand the why of it but that doesn

Since I hadn't heard from three of the agents I sent stuff to I waited the requisite 10 weeks and send them a reminder that perhaps my submission may have gotten lost in the shuffle. For all I know they canned it but I got no response. There was nothing on their sites indicating that was their practice but you never know. I need to figure out the next round of agents as it has been a while and sending out more queries would be a good thing. If only this process didn't make me a touch crazy and doubt my own story.
I mean, the story and the series are crazy awesome but when you don't get any nibbles after a while you wonder if it is your query

Got involved in a twitter pitch thing. Kind of crazy but helped me realize that the first book is sort of like The Spiderwick Chronicles meet The Da Vinci Code. Sort of but not quite. You know how it is. Pitching a book in 140 characters is tough.
